For years, the A-series has been delivering some of the best value in Android (not to mention being some of the best Android phones you can buy, period), and the Google Pixel 7a builds on that legacy by adding more of the flagship features we’ve been waiting for. The screen is finally 90Hz capable — though you might want to leave it off for your battery’s sake — and it supports wireless charging! Okay, it’s only 5W wireless charging, but this is still a notable feature in a $500 phone.
We are now in the summer shopping season, so there are a plethora of deals available that make the Pixel 7a even more affordable.

Google itself isn’t offering any Pixel 7a discounts right now, but AT&T’s carrier deals are available through the Google Store, which tends to give better trade-in values for your old phone. It’s worth checking out — particularly if you are interested in the fashionable Coral 7a colorway, which is only available from Google.
Amazon
Amazon isn’t offering any current promotions, but depending on the Amazon seller, there’s usually anywhere from $10-$45 off. Amazon has also run bundles in the past to throw in a free pair of Google Pixel Buds A-Series.
AT&T
For customers on an eligible AT&T unlimited plan, you can get the Pixel 7a for $5 per month without having to trade in a phone. With this 3-year installation plan, you’ll end up paying a whopping $180 for the Pixel 7a, so long as you stick with AT&T for the duration. That’s $320 savings on a $499 phone and kind of amazing.
Best Buy
Best Buy will often take $50 off the Pixel 7a with an Activate Today deal, but not right now. This might not look as enticing as some of the other offers, but there also aren’t any major hoops to jump through. If you’re on one of these carriers and have a Best Buy close to you for pickup, this is about as painless as it gets.
Mint Mobile
Prepaid carrier Mint Mobile is taking $100 off the Pixel 7a and giving you six months of free service when you buy the 7a with a six-month service plan. While this technically isn’t a discount on the phone itself, and you do have to pre-pay for the six months, it does amount to a $180 in savings if you go with the $30/month unlimited plan.
Verizon
Verizon’s free-with-trade-in deal has expired (for now), but you can still pick up a Pixel Watch or Galaxy Watch 6 for free with the purchase of the Pixel 7a (and any plan for the watch).
